base is made of solid oak so it is very stable uses two bearings,bolt and nut very simple to build. -
this is just a picture to show a 1 1/4" bearing more than enough to hold a fishing rod. -
this is base for powerwrapper attached is a penstate micro chuck opens about 1 1/2" wide plenty to hold anysize rods. -
