Reds hit more aggressively than the specks did...

One of many trout and reds caught last weekend. Seven pound trout make for fun topwater action too.

Trimmed the ends of the blue hypolon fore and butt grip with cork rings. Added blue gimbal and silver/blue reel seat to match.

Wrapped plus one on the background color (light to dark blue)

Underwrap in copper, main pattern in garnet and scarlet with black trim, then small diamond of red metallic center and gold metallic border.

Red Shimano Scorpion reel to match up with a GLoomis (Mahogany) poppin' rod with copper, garnet, gold, and scarlet butt wrap and guides.
