  1. Epoxy Mixer

This is my version of an Epoxy Mixer. It uses throw away 2 oz. plastic cups (Silicon free). These cups allow the epoxy to be removed, without introducing bubbles, by placing the cup upside down on a piece of aluminum foil and letting the epoxy flow out by itself. I built 6 of these units and they work GREAT!
  2. Close-up of Steve and Laurie Gustlin in front of their Booth. Steve is fiddling with a wind-on leader, while Laurie watches. The Company’s Brand New All American Roller Guides are displayed on the board on Steve’s right hand side. A Neptune Thread Tensioner is shown immediately in front of Steve.
  3. Photo shows Steve and Laurie Gustlin at their Company’s Booth just after the show started. Later on, it was hard to get near the Booth, due to the crowd oogling the 1400 hp Nash, which Steve helped his friend build.
  4. Fred Hall Show in Long Beach Ca. showing Rena Mantele holding the Short Standup Bent Butt Rod. This Spiral wrapped rod was built by Jay Lancaster (aka: Cape_Fisherman) Photo shows the All American Roller Guide Booth prior to the show opening. Laurie Gustlin is in the background, arranging the display material.
  5. This is a photograph taken on Jan 10, showing how the Pro Dennis Braid lands a 650 Lb Bluefin Tuna using his his Braid Bucket Harness while standing up. Dennis is one of the few anglers in the world that has caught these giant fish, using the standup technique. Dennis was on the Delta Dawn cruiser out of Moorehead City, NC. The Owner/Captain is Pete Manuel. There were three anglers on board: Dennis Braid, Brian Nelson, who is the newly appointed Vice President of Marketing for Penn Reels, and Dick Meirowitz Dennis also landed a 360 Lb Bluefin. This is a catch & release trip so all of the fish were safely released
  6. Dick Meirowitz of Blue Point N.Y. catches the Jackpot #3 Yellowfin Tuna, weighing 259 Lbs using his Neptune Acid Roller Rod built by Capt. Neil Faulkner of Sayville, NY - Fish was caught in Dec 2004 while aboard the Dennis Braid Charter on the Boat Excel at the Hurricane Banks, which are appox. 300 miles west of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Dick is currently fishing with Dennis Braid out of Moorehead City, NC hoping to catch a Giant Bluefin Tuna on his Neptune Acid Roller Rod. Lets hope he scores a 500 or 600 pounder. As of Jan.10 - Dennis Braid landed a 650 Lb and a 360 Lb Bluefin.
  7. Dick Meirowitz of Blue Point, NY with the 220 Lb. Yellowfin Tuna he caught using the Neptune Roller Guide Rod Built by Capt. Neil Faulkner of Sayville, NY The Neptune Spiral/Acid Roller Guides are manufactured by All American Roller Guides and are available from MudHole Tackle & Merrick Tackle. These Guides are a breakthru in Standup Big Game Tuna Fishing, due to the comparative ease of landing Big Fish, which these Spiral Wrapped Guides make possible. Notice the extremely small size of these guides in the photo, especially when compared to other type of roller guides. Although extremely small, these guides have more than adequate clearance for wind on leaders. The guides are rated for 200 Lb. line Test.
  8. If you build more than a few rods each year, this simple test fixture will save you time and make it easy to position your guides on your rod under heavy load (stress) conditions: That's a Spiral/Acid Roller Rod in the fixture
  9. Shown above are photographs of the Sundance version of All American's Neptune Roller Guides. These guides have many Titanium based iridescent colors vacuum deposited into the pores of the stainless steel substrate, and these colors are a homogenous constituent of the metal and cannot delaminate or peel. The process produces a holographic effect, causing the guides to varying in color when seen in different lights or from different angles and to have a play of lustrous rainbow-like colors. This effect is quite similar to the many scintillating and startling colors displayed by a Dororado/Mahi-Mahi when it is just caught. These guides which were specifically designed for Spiral/Acid Wrapped Rods, are rated at 200 LB line test and will easily pass the largest size of wind-on leaders. Neptune Spiral/Acid Roller Guides are available from All American Roller Guide Company at the following website: http://www.allamericanrollerguides.com/ Neptune
  10. These are photo's of David Tang's GUSA Dragon wrapped with Neptune Acid Roller Guides. This superb rod was beautiully crafted by Sang An (Aka: Sangeroo) who is the Moderator of the AllCoast RodBuilding Forum. He also developed the fast Transition concept for spiral wrapped rods, wherein the line rapidly traverses from the top of the rod to the bottom in the distance of only 2 guides. The realization of this concept, was the impetus that resulted in the development of the Neptune Roller Guides for Spiral wrapped rods.
  11. Spiral (Acid) Wrapped Roller Rod

This is a Custom Built rod using the New State of the Art Neptune Spiral Roller Guides. The rod was built by Jim Racela (aka: J.AkuHed) on a SEEKER CTS 63XXH 40 (80) 100 LBS blank. The photos clearly shows the line, under load, as it spirals around the rod.
  12. These new and recently developed roller guides are the only guides in the world made for spiral (Acid) wrapped rods. They are fabricated from 304 stainless steel and will handle line test of 200 LBs and extra large wind-on leaders. These unique guides are offered by All American Roller Guide Company.
  13. Wrap on Spiral (Acid ) roller guide

This wrap, which is absolutely beautiful in real life, was done by Sang An (aka: Sangeroo) on my GUSA Dragon Blank in 2003. The guide shown here is a proto-type of the new, but far more stylized Neptune Spiral (Acid) Roller Guides, which were just released, and are being offered by All American Roller Guide Company. This rod will be on display at the International Sportsmen's Exposition in San Mateo, CA - Starting Jan. 28 and also at the Fred Hall Show in March in Long Beach CA.
  14. Spiral Roller Rod

This is GUSA Dragon, Spiral (Acid)wrapped using Neptune Stainless Rollers. Rod was built by Sang An (Sangeroo) The line clears the rod by 1/4" under all load conditions.
