This one is for me. The blank is a Rainshadow XP841, the handle and reel seat are turned from a piece of stabilized spalted big leaf maple burl, the guides have zirconium rings and were positioned on the rod using the 27X method and static testing. I finished up the build with a closed diamond wrap.

Was asked to come up with a walleye rod for a banker. I decided to use casting resin to create my own split grip handle. The handles and the reel seat have dollar bills imbedded into the molds. The butt insert is the reverse side of the new penny and the fish pattern is from Billy Vivona's book.

I thought these thread colors would look great with the finish Batson uses on the RX8 XMB783 blanks.
