Shaded & Split Back #61

Took pattern #61, split teh background into Blue & Grey. ALso shaded it, 4 colors for each side of the split. Final color to close was Black. From the side it looks like the Blue shades into the grey.

The pattern itself started with 6 Sulky Holo Blue threads, then the layout threads were Silver metallic & teh darkest Blue in the background. After 6 passes, I stopped wrapping the Silver, and added a very Dark blue, to add some of my own flavor.

Blank is a Calstar GFX800L trimmed to an 8.5 tip. Wrap took 4:52 to complete, and is 11 1/2 inches long, 195 threads used in teh pattern - circumference at the center was 47.5.
