I hopped on the Marbling Bandwagon. Many thanks to everyone who posted suggestions on this technique. I mixed two sets of epoxy finish - I added a purple pigment (looks blue in the picture, however) to one and a yellow pigment to the other. Unfortunately, my camera didn't pick up the detailed swirled effects of the yellow in the purple. The threads match the purple and yellow finish pretty well, although a slight contrast appears in the picture.
