while pier fising in galveston a few years ago during a bull redfish run me and my friend both hooded the same fish, it picked my bait up first and my friends bait was set out about ten yards apart from mine and he picked up his bait in just a matter on seconds, not even enough time to get to my rod after it took off before my friends rod took off screaming too.

st. johns cross done on a shakespear bottle blank, upper wrap spacing was basic, but the bottom wrap on the rod was difficult due to the difference in rod diameter from the butt end to the reel seat, it is a bottle shape.
