Scorched finish removed, and refinished. Light and dark areas now. The chestnut actually looks like wood in the sunlight. It's growing on me.

holo/holo guide, purple & light blue, HT blue, prizm bands with glitter finish. Not enough glitter in finish so I need to put on another coat with more glitter.

9 year old son's rod, his design. Blue woodgrain EVA grip, black foregrip. holo/holo guides with light blue underwrap, HT metallic rainbow overwrap, HT metallic blue end wraps. I didn't think it would look good at all but I'm amazed at his eye. I added the gold Prizm holo accents with his approval and will probably use this combo on my next rod.
