about 60 days of exposure...L to R..Flex Coat,Amtak Lite,Amtak High,Rodsmith,and LS Supreme, untreaded NCP white... -

Top of the wrap shows the towers...the bottom does not......... -

Even thread can get ugly...cross your eyes, its marblized!! lol..(no offense, I actually bought some testers to play around with) -

Alconite 20...all madeira for the watermelon wrap. -
Was watching my son slobber down a watermelon slice a couple weeks ago...I obviously ate some too...now to kill it with CP and Finish!!!!!!!!!!! -
Something my son and I wrapped last year (4 at the time)...chevrons and diamonds..just crossing threads and having fun. -
Can't do it!!!It just really pixes me off when I build a "project rod"(SW1208 cut to 9ft, not a lamp) for myself that others rodbuilders are going to see up close, and I get the "blotches".Thanks for the wrap comments... -
Excellent...couldn't be happier. (Mr.Henry...,feeling pretty IRISH right now...LOL)Heavily saturated with 811 CP, 24 hour dry time, first finish coat...it bleeds!!! What the heck...adds character. Sincerely, Rapt Loose 'n it!!! -
About as close as I dare get with the digicam...pic shows my haphazard method of blending...but also shows me that I should've had less light background at the end of the wrap. -
Now to brutlize it with CP and finish. -

Army greens, prior to "extending" the wrap -
#40 alconite on a surf rod...wish I had a better digicam. Maderia poly40 and Rice metallic. -
Cork tape transition....gap between the 3/4 " band and the 3" band (decal band)will also have a gap in the finish so that when the cork tape needs replacement...its an easy fix. -

Again...different lighting...my plan is to slap a Sustain 4000 on this, attatch a black Bomber with some kind of grey braid, and go fishing...maybe a white teaser too !
