Predator chasing the baitfish pattern. The thread is Brother polyester, Mettler Polyester and Gudebrod Trimar.

I used AMTAC full wells handle and seat trimmed with Dragon wood. I tried to pick up the colours of the wood into the underwrap and inlay.

Tiger wrap done in the split grip area.

Police crest inlayed into a Matagi butt cap. Three layers of Threadmaster epoxy over.

Handle setup with inlayed EVA and "Tiger" wrap done in metalic blue, metalic silver underwrap, dark blue overwrap with no CP.

This is a Lamiglas XMG784 built up as a retirement present for a friend of mine who finishes 32 years service with the New South Wales Police Force. The colours are the state Police colours, the silver eagle represents the state police emblem, the opal is Australias national gemstone. The dark blue and white checker represents the police hat band check.

Rear handle section with "Tiger". Base wrap done in gold, dark brown and salmom. Top wrap done in dark brwon with no CP. Inlayed EVA checkers with Matagi gold components.

Finally finsihed this rod after about 2 months of waiting for parts and and getting time to do what I needed. Butt wrap in Mettler Polysheen 40#, Matagi components, brown and black marbled reel seat, "tiger" wrap in split grip.

All thread work done in Mettler Polysheen 40#. The base colour is more a deep cherry maroon.

Flower done in Mettler Polysheen #40. Looks way better in real lif. The colour in the photo is slightly more pale due to the lighting.

I couldn't resist fitting one of the last Bill Mar Mermaides produced. The area was perfect for her and I love blondes in red. Come to think of it, Blondes, Brunnet, redhead........when they're wearing what she is, it doesn't matter.

Feather inlay of Rhea, hackle, turkey, green peacock and Jungle Cock. Base wrap fade in Brother crimson, Mettler rust, light brown and beige. Threadmaster finish.
