Guide wrap done in Brother brand 40# polyester and gudebrod gold with gold holo centre trim. Tried to get the wrap colour as close to the blank as possible.

The handle was turned by Paul Kneller out of Tulip Rosewood and Wenge wood. He does fantastic work. Hopefully my thread work does not detract from the beauty of Pauls handle work.

The handle was done by Paul Kneller from Tulip Rosewood and Wenge. It is a split grip with the Wenge as the trigger seat. I'll show some better photos of the bottom of the handle section when I have finished.

Wrapped in Mettler and Brother 40# polyester thread. Very small diameter for this wrap (9mm).

EVA inlayed handle with Black Matagi seat.

Redbacks on the fishing rod instead of on the toilet seat. For you blokes who don't know what I'm talking about, these little critters are like your Black Widows only meaner, they go for the throat and don't take prisoners LOL.

Still needs some packing prior to CP. All done in Mettler polysheen 40# thread.

Exotic Burl with Brown Matagi exposed reel seat and gold trim.

Desert Rose done on a GUSA 604DHX. Mettler and Brother polyester thread used. Exotic Burl handle and Brown Marble Matagi seat with gold trim. For the Aussie Tackle Show in August.

Inlayed EVA and andromeda Matagi seat used on the Purple and Lime Predator. Also used a silver Matagi trim ring just behind the reel seat.

1st time with this wrap and would have like to elongate it a little. Just a few little packing bits to fix up.

Hastings 2 piece with EVA inlayed handles and "Andromeda" purple Matagi seat. The seat turns a dark metalic green when held at different angles.

This is on a Hastings Barramundi Rod 6-8kg I'm building for the Aussie Tackle Show held in Surfers Paradise in August. Matagi black and red marbled ECS16 seat and gold trim rings.Looks like a Hibiscus flower to me.

Purple spider done on CTS charcoal/pearl blank. Fade done in Mettler Purple, Gudebrod White, Gun Metal, charcoal and black. Wrap left open.

Metalic fish done in Speed thread, Gudebrod Tri-mar and mettler polysheen on a MB644 Matrix blank. Spiral guide placement with AMTAC holographic guides and inlayed eva handle.

"Flame marbeling on guide wraps. Wraps are double overbound. This is a heavy jig rod using braid in deap water.
