  1. Bamboo Dip Tank

    No dust or bust!
  2. Fighting Illini

Fighting Illini Logo. The easiest of the two University of Illinois' logos.
  3. Reservoir wrap 4

Sorry to bore you all with this wrap of Flaming Gorge Reservoir again, but I am messing with my digital photography trying to make my photos, especially this one, more appealing and brighter. Those "thread gaps" are actually small streams or narrow draws that run into the lake.
  4. Matching Flames

My 1st "Flames" was the rod on the top of photo. The centers need to be closer to compress the flame and make it look thinner or longer as seen in my second "Flames" whichich is the gaff on the bottom.
  5. Flames Jigging Outfit

20 lb striper and lake trout jig outfit in "flames" Made in '88 or '89.
  6. Green Butterflies

My only use of NCP Spring Green #105.
  7. Crappie Silhouette

Geeze, I just noticed how far off-center the hookeeper is!
  8. Silhouette of 5 fish

My 1st attempt at some new patterns in sihouette. Rainbow trout, jumping trout, bluegill, grayling, crappie, and print in D thread. 1990 rod is a 2-pc 10'0" slip bobber spin.
  9. Chartreuse light boat rod /tip

Chartreuse boat rod, made in 1991, still going strong. Has many hours of trolling whitout any UV damage to paint.
  10. Chartreuse light boat rod

Light trolling rod. Rod blank was painted flat white, then chartreuse, then 2 coats of color prserver, then complete rod finished with light coat of rod finish. Rod is sanded between all coats of paint or finish. The color preserver stops the finish from "lifting" the fluorescent paint and keeps the epoxy finish smooth. A real head-turner and ok for boat rods. Fluorescent comes in red, orange, chartreuse, green, blue and flo "glow in the dark" white. Gudebrod has a good selection of fluorescent jig wrapping thread to compliment the fluorescent paint job.
  11. Lake Trout Silhouette

Simple silhouette wrap of lake trout, D thread.
  12. Brook Trout Color

15" Brook Trout from Utah's High Uinta Wilderness
  13. Wyoming Wind River Mts

Native cutthroat below Warbonnet Peak in the Wind River Mountains' "Cirque of the Towers"
  14. Matched set bottom

Bottom view of matched set of light spiral wrapped trolling rods.
  15. Spiral wrap matched set

Top view of matched set of light trolling rods with spiral wrapped guides; one port one starboard.
