Stars and Stripers

Every year The Aquidneck Island Striper Team hosts its Stars & Stripers Tournament as a food drive for homeless veterans. All fish are filleted at the weigh in and donated to the Operation Stand Down food bank. This year's donation rod came out especially well and the same design is now available for sale at Lucky Bait & Tackle in Warren, RI. Owner Lorraine Dante pairs the rod with blue AVET reels and red braid to complete the package.
