Gudebrod 822 as color preserver

I was fooling around with combinations of finish and discovered that Gudebrod 822 1 part rod finish acts as a color preserver. The hookkeeper wraps have 1 coat of 822 followed by flex coat. The guide wraps are just flexcoat. #5896 regular nylon on all wraps.
